writing the essays collected in this volume was to highlight the prominent
position Kashmir holds in the destiny of India, but from an entirely new
perspective. I have written from the basis of knowledge that is both ancient and
new. Its antiquity resides in the fact that it was founded on certain Laws which
formed the basis of the ancient Vedic Way. These are called the Laws of

'If the ecliptic is laid on the
globe, using its zodiacal segments of 30 both for longitudes (vertical) and
latitude (horizontal) coordinates, the entire Earth is covered and measured with
the zodiac. And, in both directions, vertical and horizontal, or through
longitude as well as latitude coordinates, Bharat falls within the sign
Capricorn.' p. 24
'We may go farther, with the help of
the map we work with it to measure this sacred land and discover key positions,
areas on its surface that are particularly vulnerable and vital. For example, we
can measure an exact halfway into the sign of 30 degrees and we uncover what may
be considered the spinal column of Bharat, as if it were the Goddess herself
embodied in the land, as indeed she is. This brings us to the 76th parallel.
Starting from the ‘crown’ at 36 degrees north, and descending down and through
the land, this spinal column is akin to an axis. It is the 15th degree of the
sign, or the midway point. To better understand the symbolism, the traditional
significance of Capricorn comes to our aid: it is the sign of the Mountain and
the 15th degree is its apex, indicated [in the above image] at 76 degrees
longitude east and 36 north. This falls in what is now occupied Kashmir. In this
cosmology it is known as the Eye of Shiva. It is the power that holds the Dharma
together through time and space throughout the ages, keeper of the keys of

Explorations
into the Leonardo
Mystery:
On rare occasions a soul takes birth in this
world bringing with it a light which utterly transcends the classification of
mere genius. Leonardo Da Vinci was just such a soul. His versatility in so many
areas - painting, sculpture, architecture and engineering, to name just a few,
gives irresistible proof of his extraordinary gifts and the originality of his
talent. The fact that today, some 488 years after his passing, we continue to be
fascinated with his work and message bears witness to his unique abilities and
the incomparable wisdom that lies behind the execution of his most cherished
works.
In an increasingly secular world beset with strife and confusion, Leonardo’s

reductionist science in the hope of discovering some linear code or occult
formula pregnant with a hidden meaning. This has given rise to a plethora of
books and articles making this claim and that, none of which fail to rise to the
task of seeing the inherent holism in Leonardo’s work and message.
Leonardo was a mystic of an extraordinary order and like all mystics, he was
blessed with a knowingness, a light. Indeed, the very essence of this light of
“Gnosis” is its holism and integrality. And this is what is missing in all the
rampant speculation about Leonardo’s hidden message. To truly understand
Leonardo and have access to his secrets, you must be at the same level of
development, enjoy the same light of consciousness and share the same
realizations. None of the so called experts on Leonardo rise to this level of
consciousness save one, the Seer Cosmologist Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet. Anyone
